Forecast Discussion:

No major surprises yesterday, PM10 stayed in the Good AQI range, while PM2.5 reached the low Moderates. Today, we've already had some light showers in the area, which has caused particulate levels to improve. Rain chances will continue through the weekend, with most the rain expected later today and especially on Sunday. The National Weather Service does have a Flood Watch in effect for the area from late Saturday through early Monday.

As a result of the rain, particulate levels should remain low through the weekend. Heading into next week, will likely see particulates trend back up with drier and cool conditions. We are forecasting PM2.5 to reach back into the Moderate category by Tuesday, while PM10 should hang on to the Good category through the forecast period.
